The Residence Inn in Chicago is in a fantastic location, just steps away from numerous shops and restaurants. The clean rooms provide a comfortable atmosphere with a well-equipped kitchen that made meal prep easy. I couldn't have asked for a better view from the higher floors, bringing in a nice city vibe. The free breakfast offered a satisfactory selection, and I appreciated the friendly staff who were always ready to help. However, there were a few inconveniences that dampened our stay. The laundry facilities were outdated, requiring quarters instead of a more modern system that allows charging to the room. Sometimes the key cards wouldn't work, necessitating trips back to the front desk to resolve issues. Also, the towels had cleanliness concerns, which should be addressed urgently. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but a few tweaks could enhance the experience substantially.
